Spring’s Delight

Nights of strange dreams

Mornings memories bring

A simple thing did begin

Talks of dreams and walking sands

Two hearts holding hands

Dream held close through winter’s night

Wanting waiting for spring’s delight

Mind and soul they are willing

Heart now never stilling

Together they have fought the fight

Through the length of winter’s night

Waiting now for timming right

Something wonderous to begin

Longing for to find within

Strength of spirit for to fight

For love now known to be right

Heart has earned spring’s delight
